Job Description

At GemPool we are currently working with a leading remote-first workplace headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with an additional office in Dublin, Ireland. They specialize in Cloud platform, a highly configurable process automation and data collaboration tool empowering organizations globally. As the Technical Writing Manager within their Capture team, you'll play a crucial role in the RFx process, leading a team of technical writers to deliver high-quality proposals and solution deliverables in line with their mission to help impact-leading organizations work smarter.

Core Responsibilities
  • Take the lead in crafting strategic proposals, influencing RFP development, and ensuring the timely deployment of proposal activities upon release.
  • Assemble and manage capture and response teams, mentor and counsel proposal writers, and facilitate the proposal management process.
  • Work closely with procurement officials to shape target RFPs and collaborate with sales leaders as a subject matter expert throughout the proposal process.
  • Centralize and maintain up-to-date documentation related to the marketplace, enhancements, and RFx processes.
  • Formally transfer information and strategy to proposal writers upon RFP release, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Leverage 2-3 years of pre-sales experience to interact effectively with clients, assess their needs, and build strong relationships, particularly in the context of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

Skills Required
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution, with a preference for candidates holding a business degree.
  • 2-3 years of pre-sales experience in a similar professional setting.
  • Proven experience in presenting and elucidating business concepts to prospective partners from an inside sales perspective.
  • Proficiency in interacting with clients, evaluating their requirements, and establishing robust relationships conducive to successful business transactions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively within a team or working autonomously.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving success in strategic sales.
  • Exceptional ability in strategic thinking.
