Term: 6-9 monthsRate: €350-€450 per dayStart date: ASAP We are looking for a talented DWDM Engineer to work onsite in a world leading Multinational whose technology has changed the world in many ways over.
Based on a remote basis to start with but moving to their Dublin office later in the year. We are looking for a team of talented Engineers for DWDM deployment and design projects mainly on long haul applications.
The successful Optical Engineer will have a background in the below:
We are looking for people matching the below:- You will be highly autonomous, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and time management skills,
- Have a successful track record of troubleshooting complex network problems and delivering innovative solutions.
- Ideally a Degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in a similar environment
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with major DWDM platforms
- Knowledge of SNMP, TL1, XML-based or similar management protocols
- Experience with optical planning and modelling tools
- Experience with network wide upgrades and operational support of large DWDM networks
- Ability to quickly learn existing processes and work with tooling
