The Role
We’re seeking a Product Engineer with a strong Ruby on Rails background who’s passionate about solving real problems for real people. This is primarily an individual contributor role, but with a clear path to grow into leadership if that’s your goal.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Planning and building improvements, new features, and new product initiatives for the core Rails application
Contributing to product planning from conception—discovery, UI/UX, and technical design decisions
Ensuring high technical standards across code quality, testing, performance, and security
Participating in code reviews and contributing to technical decision-making processes
Debugging and resolving issues as they arise
What We’re Looking For
6+ years’ experience building full-stack web applications with modern frameworks & relational databases (at least 2 years with Ruby on Rails)
Strong product mindset with attention to detail
Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing team
Comfortable wearing multiple hats and working independently
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar is a plus (not required)
A passion for Ruby on Rails (and sport is a bonus!)
