Rate: €36,000 - €38,000 per annum ( 10% allowance for shift )
Our client, a world leading manufacturing solutions provider, is looking to add Quality Technicians to their team. This role is required to assist the Quality Engineering function as technical support in issues affecting manufacturing, to support and drive corrective action efforts and to support the drive for continuous improvement for their organisation.
Role and responsibilities:
• Verify material conformance to specifications. Interprets company and industrial specifications.
• Gather and maintain specific records of technical data related to materials and processes used in company
• Assist inspectors as first point of contact for defects and issues.
• Collects and analyzes data using statistical analysis methods
• Leading internal QMS (Quality Management System) audits.
• Gathers feedback from Debug Technicians and Rework Operators on assembly, material, test related failures and prepare detailed reports on findings.
• Assist Quality Engineers with follow up on the execution of, Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA).
• Review non-conformance material and products.
• Responsible for liaising with NPI Quality Engineer regarding NPI and are responsible for quality set up in iFactory and actively contributing to NPI Quality VA improvements
• Performs gauge R and R with quality inspectors on appropriate intervals, keep records accurately.
• Monitors FPY performance throughout the shift and initiates root cause analysis regarding yield reduction and engage with cross functional teams if required.
• Support production with troubleshooting and defect resolution.
• Ensure capability studies are performed on critical processes.
• Reviews quality visual aids and update quality inspection visual aids where necessary.
• Perform defect analysis reporting.
• Perform line and product audits.
• Assist Quality Engineering and NPI team in application of Advance Quality Planning (AQP).
• Implement the Layered Process Audit (LPA) and Quick Response Quick Control (QRQC) process and monitor effectiveness.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
• Other ad hoc duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
• Computer literate with advanced MS Office skills.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
• Strong planning & organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.
