GemPool, an IT Recruitment Agency in Dublin is currently looking for a number of UX Designers to join our client’s growing design team. Our client provides open source, industry leading solutions that enables developers and development teams to write clean code as well as amend existing code organically. Our client is based in Geneva, Switzerland and is happy to receive applications from candidates looking to relocate to Switzerland.
Our client is looking for UX Designers with strong hands-on experience designing complex enterprise applications and developer tools. This role will be focused on solving real user problems that will help software development professionals achieve their best work.
This role is a critical hire for our client, and so, we welcome strong applications as soon as possible. We would be particularly interested in candidates who possess strengths across UX, UI and UX Research and with a real flair for problem solving and problem framing. This is a permanent, hybrid role and requires applicants to be located or willing to relocate to Geneva, Switzerland. 


Job Responsibilities:
  • Design as well as maintain the new features of client products and deliver high end road-maps
  • Practice the art of design iteration and produce high quality design deliverance's that solve complex user problems
  • Support the continuous improvement effort by identifying UX issues and committing to fix them
  • Engage with our client’s community of users and animate internal discussions around product improvement
  • Work closely with designers and researchers as well as team up with product managers, marketers and engineers to achieve the best outcome
  • Contribute to the design system, striving for consistency of components and interaction principles
  • Proactively work on the design feedback
  • Help the UX Team grow in its organisation, tools, and processes


Required Skills: 
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a UX Designer is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in designing complex enterprise applications and developer tools is a must.
  • Successful Product Design contributions as well as in depth knowledge in the art of high quality craftsmanship with proven record in producing clean design deliverance's is necessary.
  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced, highly organised environment 
  • Ability to demonstrate autonomy in leading and contributing to multiple design project
  • Proven experience in designing complex product with continually evolving needs
  • Experience in balancing trade-offs, and navigating multiple streams of feedback
  • Experience working in agile practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with fluency in English, both written and spoken is an absolute must
