Lead a Global Team: Manage and inspire a .Net Development Team of 150+ developers across Ireland, India, and China
Innovative Environment: Deliver cutting-edge SaaS solutions using the .NET and Azure technology stack, ensuring scalability and high-quality
End-to-End Ownership: Direct teams through the complete project lifecycle, from conception and business requirements to software architecture and flawless delivery
Collaborative Culture: Engage with talented developers and senior stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Mentorship: Guide and mentor new and emerging software engineers, promoting best practices and continuous learning
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Motivate and lead a high-performing global development team
High-Quality Delivery: Ensure the delivery of maintainable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions
Best Practices: Implement coding best practices, design patterns, and robust architecture
Continuous Improvement: Drive the refactoring of core components to modern design patterns
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years leading large, globally dispersed development teams, with extensive experience in .Net and object-oriented programming
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of multi-tier architectures, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and agile methodologies
Leadership Skills: Proven capability in senior leadership roles, with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Education: Postgraduate qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline are desirable
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the pension and insurance industry
Azure and AWS experience, are a plus
