GemPool are partnered with a market leading e-commerce Company based in Dublin City Centre. They are looking to take on a Front End Architect to join an established Web Development Division. You will drive and help to grow the front end team. This job requires hands on coding and mentoring responsibilities.
You will be working using Agile methodologies to enhance and improve their existing eCommerce sites but also contribute to the centralised eCommerce SOA platform and digital transformation of the company.

At least 7 years working in front end development and related technologies
Magento eCommerce development experience including integrating 3rd party modules/plugins with Magento, theme development, platform set-up, configuration, and customization
Very strong understanding of Agile methodologies and code development and deployment best practices
Ability to bug fix and optimise websites for performance
Strong communication skills and leadership qualities
Mobile development experience
Problem solver rather than problem spotter
Degree in Computer Science of similar
Track record working within a team, leading and mentoring others
Front end development and architecture for large scale e-commerce websites
Web development using Agile methodologies
Contributing to web projects –from building UI architectures to bug fixing
Providing technical leadership to other members of the team and mentoring skills
Continuous improvement of processes and quality of the software delivered
