Electrical EngineerLocation - Europe
Position - Permanent 
Salary -  € 55k -  € 75k ( depending on level of experience ) 

At GemPool we are currently seeking experienced Electrical Engineers with previous experience working in Data Center projects.

This position shall operate on a 17/4 rotation. 17 days away at the site and 4 days home. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in data centers, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive design reviews of drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Developing engineering alternative solutions, including detailed calculations and sketches for client approval.
- Utilizing engineering software tools such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech Pro Design, and Navisworks.
- Reviewing coordinated construction drawings and documentation.
- Preparing requests for information (RFIs) and coordinating with clients.
- Reviewing specialist supplier packages for compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Managing procurement schedules and technical submittals for client approval.
- Monitoring LEED and BREEAM requirements and submittals as necessary.
- Assisting with commissioning stages, client demonstrations, and reviewing operation and maintenance manuals.

Education & Experience:

- A Level 7 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering, or Building Services   Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical project engineering or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems from design or construction perspectives.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
- Good knowledge of current electrical, fire alarm, and emergency lighting standards within Ireland.
- Familiarity with engineering software packages such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech, and Navisworks is desirable but not essential.
