About the Role: Gempool Recruitment is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our client’s dynamic team in Dublin. This role involves overseeing procurement activities for large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring cost efficiency, supplier quality, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of procurement cost control and resource planning for assigned projects.
Develop and execute project-specific procurement strategies in line with company policies.
Lead supplier qualification, selection, contract negotiation, and approval processes.
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential procurement risks.
Source and onboard new suppliers; maintain strong working relationships with supplier leadership (including CXO-level contacts).
Manage ongoing supplier performance, facilitate performance reviews, and implement improvement plans where necessary.
Address and resolve project-related supplier issues and complaints in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Previous experience in data centre construction, civil infrastructure, or green energy projects is a strong advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis.
Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
