Job Description

GemPool Recruitment is hiring an Engineering Manager for a healthcare technology company building an AI-powered clinical documentation platform used by clinicians every day.

The role:

• Lead and develop a team of engineers
• Drive Agile delivery in partnership with Product
• Provide technical leadership across backend and AI-enabled services
• Foster a high-quality, inclusive engineering culture

Tech environment:

Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Kubernetes, AI/LLMs

About you:

• 7+ years’ backend engineering experience, including 3+ years managing people
• Strong Node.js / TypeScript background
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery and scalable systems
• Collaborative, communicative leadership style
