Full-Stack AI Engineer (Contract – 12 Months)

GemPool Recruitment is hiring an experienced Full-Stack AI Engineer for a 12-month contract role based in Dublin (hybrid working).

This is a hands-on role combining AI-driven application development with training, enablement, and product support. You’ll work on production-grade GenAI solutions while helping teams adopt and scale AI capabilities across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain production-grade AI applications
• Work with LLMs, agent-based workflows, and RAG pipelines
• Develop full-stack features using Python and React
• Design and integrate APIs and real-time interfaces
• Deliver technical training and support knowledge transfer
• Support and troubleshoot live production systems

Requirements

• 5+ years’ software engineering experience
• 2+ years building AI/ML systems in production
• Strong AWS experience
• Comfortable working independently as a contractor
• Clear communicator with strong documentation skills
