Senior Product Management Lead – 6-Month Contract
Location: Ireland – Remote
Contract: 6 Months
Day Rate: Up to €600 per day
About the Role
Gempool is partnering with a global organisation operating at the forefront of clinical research technology to hire a Senior Product Management Lead on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a senior product leadership and advisory role focused on improving product execution, strengthening product management practices, and supporting the team across complex product and operational challenges.
You will partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership, act as a point of escalation for prioritisation and trade-off decisions, and provide guidance and mentorship to Product Managers and Product Owners. You will also help improve workflows, operational processes, roadmap execution, and UI/UX priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a senior point of escalation for product prioritisation and trade-off decisions.
- Support roadmap execution based on the vision, strategy, and priorities set by the Product Lead.
- Partner with Engineering leadership to identify and implement process and workflow improvements.
- Help strengthen product management practices, processes, and ways of working across the team.
- Coach and mentor Product Managers and Product Owners in an advisory capacity.
- Support escalations and incident response when required, including production issues.
- Help guide UI/UX priorities and execution.
- Identify and resolve risks, dependencies, and challenges impacting product delivery.
- Bring senior product judgement and experience to improve execution and help scale the team’s product management maturity.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in software Product Management.
- Senior-level experience across product leadership, product operations, or complex product environments.
- Strong experience with product prioritisation, trade-offs, roadmap execution, and delivery.
- Proven experience partnering closely with Engineering leadership.
- Strong experience designing and improving workflows and operational processes.
- Experience coaching and mentoring Product Managers and/or Product Owners.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate as a senior advisor and escalation point without requiring direct people management responsibility.
- A practical, execution-focused approach with the ability to improve processes and drive measurable outcomes.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working closely with UI/UX or Design teams.
- Background in clinical research or healthcare technology.
- Experience supporting production incidents or operational escalations.
