Salary: Up to €95,000  base + benefits

About the Role
Gempool is partnering with a leading professional services organisation to hire an experienced .NET Technical Lead. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys shaping technical direction, championing engineering best practices, and mentoring development teams in an Agile environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical direction and hands-on guidance across backend (.NET) and frontend (Angular or React) development
• Support, guide, and mentor a development team working in an Agile environment
• Contribute to solution design, code quality, and architectural decision-making
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and senior stakeholders to shape technical direction and deliverables
• Drive best practices across code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, and clean architecture
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and support the team in resolving them
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and innovation

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of hands-on .NET development experience
• 5+ years of experience with Angular or React
• Experience leading or mentoring development teams
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and Agile methodologies
• Solid knowledge of software design and SOLID principles
• Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, and Angular or React
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and senior business stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions
