Job Description
GemPool is hiring for our client, a global leader in consumer electronics, software, and digital services, who is looking to expand their Cork team with an experienced SCRUM Lead – Agile Delivery.
While this opportunity isn’t live yet, we’re inviting expressions of interest from certified Scrum Masters who are ready to lead high-performing agile teams and deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Cork, Ireland – Hybrid (onsite 3 days, WFH 2 days)
Duration: Contract – 12 months (extension possible)
Rate: €450 – €475 dayrate
Your Role
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coach and empower teams to adopt best practices, remove impediments, and foster self-organizing, high-velocity teams.
- Act as the bridge between product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Continuously refine team processes, implement agile methodologies, and drive adoption of agile tools.
- Track and report metrics such as sprint completion rates, team velocity, and cycle times to enable data-driven improvements.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers to support smooth delivery.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Lead, with a proven record of successful sprint delivery.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
- Expertise in agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, and experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and technical project management.
