LOCATION: Dublin, Ireland
ABOUT THE ROLE Our client is a global leader in their domain and need to hire an Enterprise Architect to join its technology team in Dublin. You will have the opportunity to own the architectural strategy for the business and make decisions that drive huge value across the organisation.
Reporting directly to the CIO, you will own and drive the overarching technology design and digital roadmap. You will drive business strategy, system governance, and innovation, and you will shape enterprise-wide standards across cloud services, data platforms, and integrated business systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Technology Ownership
- Define and execute the multi-year technology strategy, adapting it to evolving commercial priorities.
- Counsel the CIO and leadership on long-range system design, emerging digital capabilities, and technical debt reduction.
- Research and trial cutting-edge digital utilities—including AI tools—designing proofs-of-concept that optimise workflows and drive business value.
Architecture Governance & Leadership
- Formulate and enforce design principles, reference architectures, and design records across applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
- Chair technical decision-making committees, ensuring designs satisfy operational resilience, data privacy, legal, and financial audit controls.
- Direct and mentor internal domain leads and solution designers, establishing consistent technical delivery principles.
Platform & Integration Governance
- Design and govern enterprise platform solutions centered on modern cloud environments and enterprise SaaS frameworks.
- Architect advanced analytics platforms, establishing standardised data pipelines and automated information exchange.
- Implement artificial intelligence capabilities and low-code rapid development tools within structured risk and security guardrails.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record in an enterprise architecture role, designing multi-year technical strategies and leading architecture review boards.
- Deep knowledge of modern cloud architecture, data warehousing, integration pipelines, and automated application development.
- Practical experience governing system designs against strict financial, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to direct technical staff and influence executive business leaders.
