Job Description

We’re hiring a hands-on Data Centre Manager, for our client, to take ownership of a busy facility in Dublin. If you like variety, enjoy solving problems, and want real responsibility in a fast-moving environment, this is a brilliant opportunity.

What you’ll be doing

  • Running the day-to-day operations of a major data centre.
  • Keeping on top of all planned preventative maintenance and contractor activity.
  • Making sure KPIs, audits and compliance are all in good shape.
  • Managing site layout, space planning, drawings and asset records.
  • Delivering projects on time — installs, racks, cages, power, security, you name it.
  • Working directly with clients, carriers and vendors.
  • Playing a key role in connectivity and client-facing activity.
  • Owning site budgets, forecasting power use and spotting revenue opportunities.
  • Acting as an escalation point for any incidents (24/7 call rota)

Who we’re looking for

  • 3+ years in data centre operations or critical infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of power, cooling, cabling and colo environments.
  • Comfortable leading people, managing contractors and dealing with clients.
  • Confident with computerised maintenance management systems, computer-aided facilities management systems, audits and reporting.
  • Calm under pressure and solid in decision-making.
  • Great communicator with strong organisational skills.
  • Full driving licence.

Bonus points for: ITIL, Project Management qualification, DC Pro certs, AutoCAD/Visio experience.

Why this role?

  • You get real autonomy and responsibility.
  • Big impact — you’re the person keeping the site running smoothly.
  • Lots of interaction: clients, engineering, vendors and senior leadership.
  • A growing environment with plenty of opportunities to develop your career.
