Location: Ballycoolin, Ireland (Northwest Business Park, Dublin 15.)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly technical BMS / Integration Commissioning Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data centre project.
This role sits at the core of building automation and controls integration — ensuring that physical infrastructure, control systems, and software logic operate as a fully integrated and reliable ecosystem.
The successful candidate will be responsible for validating that all BMS, SCADA, and industrial control systems correctly monitor, control, and communicate across mechanical and electrical infrastructure, with a strong focus on system integrity, data accuracy, and seamless end-to-end performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage BMS, controls, and integration commissioning packages across the project lifecycle
- Audit and validate Sequence of Operations (SOO) against live mechanical and electrical system performance
- Execute and oversee point-to-point and end-to-end testing across automation and control networks
- Ensure full data integrity from field devices (sensors, actuators) through to BMS front-end systems
- Troubleshoot communication issues across industrial protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and SCADA
- Monitor commissioning progress and reporting against project programme and milestones
- Chair and participate in commissioning coordination meetings with client, contractor, and vendor teams
- Maintain commissioning QA/QC documentation, ensuring full traceability and compliance
- Analyse system logs and performance data to verify operational accuracy and stability
- Coordinate functional performance testing, retesting, and system validation activities
- Support structured commissioning execution across all building services systems
- Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are fully documented and aligned to project requirements
Requirements
- Strong background in controls engineering, BMS integration, or commissioning delivery
- Proven experience with industrial automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SCADA)
- Solid understanding of IT/network fundamentals (IP addressing, switches, VLANs, topology)
- Experience in data centres, critical infrastructure, pharmaceutical, or industrial environments
- Strong ability to interpret Sequence of Operations (SOO) and system logic diagrams
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills across integrated control systems
- Must be based in Ireland and available for full-time onsite work in Ballycoolin
