Role (Remote Within Ireland)
As an Automation Test Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality software releases across complex, mission-critical platforms.
You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to:
- Build and maintain requirement-driven automated test frameworks
- Improve internal quality systems and testing efficiency
- Support audits and compliance within a regulated environment
- Mentor teammates and contribute to best practices across the QA function
This is a role for someone who enjoys ownership, technical depth, and working on products that truly matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts (UI & API)
- Enhancing and modernising existing automation frameworks
- Performing full lifecycle testing (integration, regression, stress)
- Collaborating in Agile/Scrum environments with in-sprint automation
- Investigating defects and customer issues end-to-end
- Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing test code
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- 5+ years in software testing, including 3+ years in automation
- Strong experience with C#/.NET, Selenium, API testing, SQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GitHub & GitHub Actions
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery and SDLC principles
Nice to Have:
- Experience in healthcare, clinical trials, or regulated industries
- A passion for automation trends and continuous improvement
- Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience
