About the Role
We are seeking an Ireland-based Senior Manager, Product Management to lead a multi-product portfolio .Reporting to the VP, Product Lead / SVP, Head of Product, you will ensure product strategy is translated into clear team goals and executed consistently across the portfolio. You will directly manage, coach, and develop Product Managers and Product Owners, while contributing portfolio-level insight, business cases, and delivery perspectives to inform product strategy.
You will also lead cross-functional partnerships across the organisation and represent the product portfolio in customer advisory discussions and industry events.
Responsibilities
Strategy Execution & Portfolio Oversight
- Translate product strategy and vision into actionable roadmap plans across the product portfolio.
- Understand the market, industry trends, and cross-product workflows to inform portfolio execution.
- Contribute market, customer, and delivery insight to opportunity assessment and portfolio expansion discussions.
- Set goals for products and teams, aligning objectives with the strategy set by product leadership.
- Track product performance through usage metrics, feature adoption, and customer engagement.
- Use product performance data to inform roadmap priorities and assess the impact of product strategy.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Manage, coach, and develop Product Managers and Product Owners.
- Develop current and future product leaders, ensuring alignment between functional strategy and wider business objectives.
- Coach Product Managers on roadmap prioritisation and alignment with strategic direction.
- Coach Product Owners to ensure product enhancements meet end-user expectations.
- Set goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Act as an escalation point for the team, helping resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks.
- Hire, onboard, and mentor new team members.
- Lead efforts to improve product team processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert within the Product Management function.
Financial & Business Case Ownership
- Partner with senior product leadership on product P&L inputs, including cost, resourcing, and revenue-impact data.
- Develop business cases for roadmap investments, assessing expected value, cost, and risk.
- Communicate progress against product goals, including financial and delivery performance.
- Balance business, financial, operational, and people considerations when making portfolio decisions.
Clinical Research & Data
- Demonstrate working knowledge of clinical trial systems, including CTMS, EDC, eTMF, eReg, and IRB systems.
- Understand the data generated by these systems and the connectivity across sponsor, CRO, and site users.
- Demonstrate familiarity with clinical data standards and terminologies, including CDISC, MedDRA, SNOMED CT, and LOINC.
- Apply knowledge of clinical research technology and data to product portfolio execution.
Cross-Functional & External Leadership
- Build cross-functional partnerships across Strategy, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering, Software Testing, Implementation, and Product Support.
- Represent the product portfolio in senior stakeholder forums and customer advisory discussions.
- Present at conferences and industry events.
- Build trust and rapport with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate complex business scenarios clearly and tailor messaging appropriately for different audiences.
- Guide teams through new initiatives and organisational change.
Qualifications
- Must be based in Ireland with full legal working rights.
- 10+ years of experience in software Product Management.
- 5+ years of experience supervising Product Managers and/or Product Owners.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in clinical research or healthcare technology is preferred.
- Experience partnering on P&L inputs or developing business cases for a product portfolio is preferred.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with CTMS, EDC, eTMF, eReg, and/or IRB systems.
