GemPool is partnering with a healthcare technology company connecting patients, sites, sponsors, and CROs through a unified software ecosystem to accelerate clinical trials.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking an Ireland based Senior Director, Product Management to lead a core multi-product portfolio (Site Tech, Sponsor Tech, Data Platforms). Reporting to the VP Product Lead, you will bridge executive strategy and team execution. You will directly manage, coach, and scale a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, driving product delivery, financial business cases, and cross-functional alignment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Translate executive strategy into high value product roadmaps. Track adoption and engagement metrics to evaluate impact and adjust priorities.
• Hire, manage, and mentor Product Managers and Product Owners. Set performance goals, coach on roadmap prioritisation, and serve as an escalation point.
• Partner with executive leadership on P&L inputs. Build ROI driven business cases for roadmap investments, quantifying costs, risks, and value.
• Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Success. Represent the portfolio in client advisory boards and industry events.

 

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Location: Must reside in Ireland with full legal working rights.
• Experience: 10+ years in software Product Management; 5+ years directly managing PMs/POs.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (IT, Computer Science, or Life Sciences preferred).
• Domain Expertise: Experience in healthcare technology, clinical research, or SaaS is strongly preferred.

 

Key Skills

• Strong executive communication and client presentation skills.
• Commercial acumen with experience building business cases and analyzing P&L inputs.
• Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
