Senior Project Manager
Contract: 6 months, with potential to extend
Day Rate: Up to €400 per day
Location: Dublin
Working Model: Hybrid – 1 day per week in the Dublin office, including client-site visits where required

The Opportunity

GemPool is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a high-profile digital environment, working closely with a leading corporate organisation and its creative and technology partners.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in digital project delivery, Agile methodologies and stakeholder management. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences, managing projects from discovery and planning through to delivery.
You’ll be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and acting as the key link between business stakeholders, designers, developers, QA, content and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital projects and programmes, ensuring successful outcomes against agreed objectives.
• Manage and develop strong relationships with senior client and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into clear project goals, priorities and delivery plans.
• Work closely with Design, Business Analysis, Development, QA and Content teams to coordinate delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, planning sessions, demos, retrospectives and release planning.
• Lead discovery and project scoping activities, working collaboratively with design and technical teams.
• Manage project planning, estimation, task allocation, resource mapping, capacity planning and utilisation.
• Identify project risks, dependencies and potential obstacles, putting appropriate mitigation plans in place.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholder communications simultaneously.
• Coordinate delivery across client teams, internal teams and third-party vendors.
• Support project governance, processes and delivery standards across the wider team.
• Contribute to planning, reporting and monthly billing activities.
• Bring new ideas and opportunities to clients and confidently present recommendations and solutions.

About You

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager who combines strong project delivery experience with excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.

You will ideally have:

• 5+ years’ experience in project or digital delivery.
• Proven experience delivering digital projects end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban or hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across Design, BA, Development, QA and Content.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, ideally within a client-facing or agency environment.
• Experience with Jira and Agile project management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• A hands-on, collaborative approach to project management.
• Experience facilitating workshops with technical and/or design teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Good technical awareness and an understanding of digital/web development processes.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within a creative agency, digital agency or corporate digital environment.
• Familiarity with UX and design systems.
• Experience with tools such as Miro, Slack or Figma.
• Experience working with CMS platforms; Kentico experience would be advantageous.
• Relevant project management, product or Agile certification.
