Senior Network Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid & Client Sites)
Job Type: Permanent

We’re recruiting an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a growing technical team delivering enterprise network and infrastructure solutions across the education and corporate sectors. This is a client-facing role combining pre-sales, solution design, project delivery, and hands-on implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise during pre-sales meetings, site surveys, and infrastructure audits.
• Design and scope network and server solutions, producing High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and Statements of Work (SoWs).
• Lead the implementation of networking, server, firewall, and Wi-Fi projects.
• Manage projects from design through to deployment, documentation, and handover.
• Work closely with internal teams and clients to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Technical Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Network Engineering role.
• Cisco CCNP (Routing & Switching) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, firewall management, and high-density Wi-Fi design.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange/Microsoft 365, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
• ITIL v4 Foundation (or equivalent); Agile Service Manager certification is desirable.

About You

• Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify infrastructure improvement opportunities.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project delivery experience.
• Full Irish Driving Licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

Essential Qualifications:

• Cisco CCNP (Routing & Switching) or equivalent
• MCSE or equivalent Microsoft certifications
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification
• Minimum 5+ years’ industry experience in a senior network engineering role
• Full Irish Driving Licence
