Operations Supervisor  – Datacentre Operations

Salary: Upto €50,000 
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Dublin 11
Onsite: 5 days a week (Mon – Fri)
Hours: 40-hour week (8:00am – 4:30pm)

Role Overview:
We are hiring an Operations Supervisor to oversee IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and Storage Media Reconciliation (SMR) operations within a high-compliance environment. The role covers end-to-end operational control including asset processing, secure data destruction, inventory reconciliation, and chain-of-custody management, ensuring full asset traceability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations including reprogramming, packing, shredding, and finished goods handling
  • Lead and develop operational teams, ensuring performance and coverage
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, WEEE Directive, and internal audit requirements
  • Maintain strict chain-of-custody controls for all data-bearing devices (HDDs, SSDs, tapes, etc.)
  • Oversee secure data destruction (e.g. NIST 800-88 compliant processes)
  • Manage inventory reconciliation and ensure 100% asset traceability
  • Review operational reports and system data to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy targets
  • Track KPIs, SLAs, and operational quality metrics
  • Support logistics coordination and third-party/vendor performance management
  • Lead daily/weekly operational reviews and KPI meetings
  • Ensure SOP compliance, audit readiness, and accurate reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma methodologies)
  • Support SHEQ initiatives including safety, risk assessments, and incident reporting

Required Skills:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, ITAD, industrial, data centre, or similar environments
  • 2+ years’ supervisory/team leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle and storage media handling
  • Experience with asset tracking/WMS systems (e.g. Vadis or equivalent)
  • Strong GDPR and data protection knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail, reporting, and reconciliation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
  • Lean / Six Sigma exposure is an advantage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
