Azure Cloud Solution Architect
Salary: Up to €95,000
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Dublin
Onsite: Hybrid

Role Overview:

Lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, working closely with enterprise clients to define cloud strategies, modernise legacy systems, and implement secure, high-performing architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Design end-to-end Azure-based solution architectures (IaaS & PaaS)
• Translate business requirements into scalable, realisable system designs
• Lead architecture decisions across Agile delivery teams
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solutions
• Drive cloud migration strategies from legacy systems
• Produce architecture documentation and present solutions to stakeholders
• Contribute to IT strategy, governance, and technology decision-making
• Work across integrations, data platforms, web technologies, and enterprise systems

Required Skills:

•  Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Solution Architect / Cloud Architect role
•  Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS)
• Azure certifications or willingness to achieve them
• Background in software development (Java or .NET preferred)
• Proven experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience across integration, infrastructure, and application architecture
• Ability to design multi-system, enterprise-level architectures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

•  Experience with AWS or Google Cloud
• Exposure to project planning, budgeting, and delivery tracking
• Experience supporting pre-sales or bid processes
• Third-level degree in Computer Science or related field
