Job Title: Forklift Driver (Licensed)
Location: Dublin
Job Type: 6-Month Contract (with possibility of extension)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: €33,000 per annum (pro rata equivalent)

Overview
We at Gempool are currently seeking experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Drivers to support logistics operations within a large warehouse environment in Dublin.
This role involves the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, and storage of materials within a busy operational setting, with a strong focus on health & safety, accuracy, and productivity—particularly in high-traffic areas such as loading bays and truck docks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in line with training and certification
  • Load, unload, and move goods across warehouse, storage, and dispatch areas
  • Support inbound and outbound logistics activities, including receiving and shipment preparation
  • Ensure accurate handling, movement, and storage of materials to support tracking and stock control
  • Carry out routine equipment checks and report any faults or safety concerns promptly
  • Maintain safe working practices in high-traffic areas such as loading bays and truck docks
  • Follow all site health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) procedures at all times
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant work environment
  • Support general warehouse and material handling tasks as required
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to meet operational targets

Requirements

  • Valid forklift licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent) – essential
  • Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Strong awareness of health & safety procedures, especially in loading/unloading areas
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Good attention to detail and strong reliability
  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Team player with ability to work independently when required
