Job Type: 6-Month Contract (with possibility to extend)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Overview
Gempool is currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Technician to support a large-scale data centre server recycling and processing project in Dublin. This is a fast-paced operational environment involving the safe handling, dismantling, and processing of server equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully dismantle server racks and IT equipment
• Extract and handle high-value components (e.g. DIMMs, hard drives, BMCs)
• Record components accurately using serial number tracking systems
• Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance standards
• Support the stripping and breakdown of equipment for recycling and reuse
• Work safely in a busy warehouse/data centre-style environment
• Follow all health & safety procedures and site regulations at all times

Operational Workflow Overview

• Inbound: Server racks delivered via truck bays
• Staging: Equipment is received and prepared for processing
• Processing: Technicians dismantle and extract reusable components at workstations
• Stripping: Remaining materials are broken down for recycling
• Outbound: Processed materials and components are prepared for shipment

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehouse, technical, or data handling environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Ability to follow structured processes accurately
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
