Job Description
Software Development Engineer – Alexa International
Salary: €55,000 per annum
Contract: 12 months, Full-Time
Location: Dublin
Role Overview:
Lead the expansion of Alexa’s third-party (3P) Task Completion capabilities for international markets,
focusing on scalable, high-performance API integrations and generative AI experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design and implement 3P API integrations within complex, distributed systems
● Optimize for scalability, reliability, and performance
● Develop and maintain microservices architecture on cloud platforms
● Handle high-throughput and real-time data processing
● Collaborate with cross-functional and partner teams
Required Skills:
● Strong experience in API development and integration
● Expertise in microservices architecture and cloud technologies
● Proven ability to manage high-throughput, real-time systems
● Excellent communication and organizational skills
● Ability to work independently and in teams under pressure
● Minimum 4 years of Java experience
● Recent hands-on Java experience within the last 6 months is mandatory
