At Gempool, we are searching for an experienced Security Engineer to work with an exciting new gaming platform developer in Dublin. The successful candidate will join a small but highly functioning team of IT professionals and get exposure to every aspect of the business’ security operations

In this start-up environment, having a versatile and can-do approach to how you do things is highly important for the position. Ideally we seek someone who has worked in a variety of disciplines within the Information Security sector and is somewhat of a security fanatic.

Responsibilities:
- Threat analysis
- Compliance across international security standards
- Penetration testing (mobile and desktop apps)
- Ongoing quality and security testing

What you should bring:
- Advanced knowledge of security standards (ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.) in both implementation and compliance
- Solid working knowledge of AWS (security principles in particular) as well as Microsoft Cloud Products (AzureAD, Office365)
- A decent grasp of scripting languages, such as Bash and/or Python
- Full knowledge of OWASP Top 10
- Forensic analysis experience
- Experience working with Kubernetes
