Job Description

Hybrid office model 

Our client is a leading eCommerce platform in Europe. They work with thousands of Europe's best-known brands, they provide a unique product offering and they are user-obsessed.

This is a newly created position, and they need someone to help cater their CRM to each user segment, exponentially improve their email marketing and bring a unique point of view in order to provide creative and impactful insights from large sets of data.

They are looking for an email marketing guru, someone who can bring a lot of impactful insights and value to this aspect of the business. As a newly created role, the growth opportunities are substantial!

The ideal candidate:
  • Significant SQL experience
  • An understanding of Web Stack (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
  • Experience with site and campaign optimization
  • Insight and A/B testing tools
  • Data-driven, experimental and enthusiastic
  • Proven experience building segmentation models (Customer Lifetime Value and RFM models)
  • Experience building attribution, propensity and churn models
  • Google Analytics and Adobe would be preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with business and technical teams
  • Ability to present complex information in a palatable way to a range of stakeholders
  • Adaptable to evolving techniques and business challenges
  • Ability to approach problems with a creative mindset

Required experience:
  • Degree educated: University level qualification in preferably in Science, Data and/or Business
  • 3+ years experience in web, mobile and social marketing analytics using data and analysis to make decisions and to influence others (ideally eCommerce/conversion-focused sites experience)
  • Experience working with and improving email marketing campaigns

Good to have (but not deal breakers):
  • R / Python experience
  • Experience working in a voucher/deals type business would be a significant advantage

About the role:
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide relevant actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with key members of the CRM & BI teams
  • Drive a data-driven approach to CRM campaigns
  • Become a user expert, understand customer wants, needs and improve overall customer-journey
  • In charge of continuous analysis of product performance to provide ongoing improvement insights and techniques
  • Ensuring UTM tagging is optimal by working closely with 3rd parties and relevant teams
  • Evolution of existing RFM, LTV models
  • Provide insights to improve CRM forecast performance (audience targeting, sends, traffic, etc.)
