John has extensive knowledge of the international telecoms markets and has worked for extended periods in Middle East, Central Europe, Africa and Australasia. Prior to joining GemPool, John worked at several High Potential Start Up’s primarily delivering solutions across both the Vodafone & T-Mobile Group. John was appointed CEO of GemPool in May ’11, and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accounting) from the Institute Of Public Administration and is a member of the Institute of Accounting Technicians in Ireland.

Enda Rochford

Enda has been working in the IT Recruitment sector for 5 years having started out in the fast paced contracts market before moving into permanent recruitment. Enda has worked with both indigenous and multinational companies successfully attracting highly skilled staff into positions across a variety of sectors including financial services and telecoms. Nikki Mitchell

Nikki has over 7 years experience working in the recruitment industry in both Ireland & the UK, Nikki’s commenced her career in a commercial role which gave her a financial advantage in the fast paced IT environment, saving money by driving cost efficiencies through the introduction of a continual improvement recruitment processes within Microsoft, while in parallel utilizing her client relationship skills in the successful high volume & recruitment drive. Nikki is an integral part of the GemPool professional services team for the last 3.5 years, she has continually exceeded expectations by consistently reaching target’s in a challenging environment, recently Nikki has also widened the scope of GemPool’s activities within the professional services department by strategically branching into the scientific and R&D industries.

Justin McKenna
Technical Solutions Manager
Justin has been working within the IT Services sector for over 8 years and is currently responsible for managing GemPool’s Contracting & Professional Services operations. He has previously worked with Ireland’s leading publicly listed recruitment company where he successfully delivered services into clients within the IT, Telecoms, Financial and Biotechnology sectors. Justin has guided a number of clients through HR & Recruitment Process Outsourcing best practices and has designed and delivered large scale graduate recruitment programs to a number of clients. With qualifications in Biochemistry and Advanced Project Management Justin has extensively advised clients at CXO level on all aspects of recruitment and resourcing strategy and has successfully tendered for and delivered our services and software solutions to ICT companies ranging from indigenous start-ups to blue chip multinationals.

Tony Fernandez
Business Manager & Telecoms Consultant
Tony has been with GemPool since day one and has been instrumental in growing our permanent consultancy team as well as our external client base .With over seven years industry experience with two of Europe’s largest agencies, Tony began in sales recruitment before moving into the telecoms sphere in 2006. His experience includes the management of high volume engineering projects for some of the world’s leading operators and more recently consultancy work for one of Irelands fastest growing software companies, where he has sourced and hired over 40 commercial and engineering staff in the last 12 months. Tony holds a BSc as well as Diplomas in Project Management and Public Relations and is currently studying Diplomas in Spanish and Management respectively.

Robert has gained over 4 years’ experience within the recruitment industry specifically in Ireland. Robert commenced his recruitment career in a specialist recruitment role within the Construction and Engineering industry, recruiting technical professionals in the Irish, UK and UAE markets before moving into the fast paced IT services sector in early 2010. Paula’s background is in HR and Learning and Development within the construction industry where she spent over 8 years. Her achievements included coaching staff and management in HR, training and recruitment policies and processes; design, implementation and delivery of training initiatives and leading the roll out and implementation of HR systems throughout the company. Michael Lantry

Michael has over 4 years experience in recruitment and business development. Michael started his recruitment career with one of Ireland’s largest recruitment companies and has worked acorss the financial and IT Industries. Subsequently Michael worked in a business development role for an international certification body, focusing on the specialist areas of information security management and IT service management. Michael has a proven track record in attracting, nurturing and developing relationships with key professionals in the IT industry across Ireland and the UK.

Leonardo Latorre
Software Development Consultant
Leonardo has over five years recruitment industry experience in his native Italy where he filled a variety of Middle-Top Management positions in the Oil & Gas industry focusing on the EMEA region. He moved to Ireland to work in the IT consultancy space and joined the GemPool team in July 2012 as a Software Development Consultant for the Permanent Division. With an educational background in psychological and philosophical studies he is passionate about computer science, programming languages and all related about latest technologies and is currently studying Comp Science in Ireland. Leonardo now manages all of our development requirements across all industries with specific focus on Front End and Web Development roles.
